The main aim of this study is to analyze the works of "Turgut Reis" of Cevat Şakir, known as Halikarnas Balıkçısı, and "L'Egyptienne" of Egyptian writer Gilbert Sinoué, through the concept of historical novel. The authors have written these works in XXth century and emphasized the places in their works which are the basis of their own past. They have presented the importance of places to us through a historical section based on actual events that actually occurred in a ctional or non ctional world.
